SEO Company Buys Check Rankings
:SEO Company Buys Check Rankings
Well it official SEO Company now owns CheckRankings.com. Roderick Coleman of ColemanBusiness Webdesign made me an offer that I felt like I could refuse.
I also picked up a programmer on contract with the deal also. Andrey from Ukraine has done a good job on this Website and we have had a number of good talks already and I look forward to working with him to expand the project.
Basically the idea is to take the CheckRankings and merge my Keyword Ranking Monitor Tool mock up into it.
Here is my vision for the tool.
Product a quality free tool that will to track and display daily rankings, inbound links, and number of documents in index for Google, Yahoo and MSN. Track and display daily Alexa 3 month ranking, visits, and unique’s of the site, and visits to the pages that are ranking for the keywords. Also to provide the same to SEO Firms who will be able to repackage the tool and place it on their own site and provide this same service to their clients.
I have budgeted $10,000 to develop and market the Keyword Position Tracker tool for 2006.
So there is going to be a number of changes right off the bat. Here is the list that I have given Andrey the programmer.
1. Remove support for Alltheweb, Altavista, AOL, Average, and Teoma.
2. Turn the graph right site up so 1 is at the top.
3. Make the graph default to be last 30 days not the last 7 days.
4. Show a sample output from the Keyword Suggestion & Research Tool.
5. Record number of documents, number of inbound links and Alexa’s 3 month ranking for each domain.
6. Set up a sample ranking that can be viewed so visitors can see a sample of what the Keyword Position Tracker can do for them.
7. Set up a Wordpress blog on the site so the developments of the tool can be blogged and the visitors and users can make comments.
Other longer term plans will be as follows.
1. Get a db admin expert to check the structure of the db.
2. Move the site from to the hosting account it is on now to a server.
3. Change the graph display to a Java applet. (The keywords will be placed down the side and the Java applet will be to the right of that list. You mouse over the keywords and the applet will display a quality graph.)
4. Set up the Keyword Position Tracker app to display rankings on remote pages and offer tool to SEO Firms for them to repackage and offer to their clients.
5. Increase the free account storage to 12 months and leave it at 10 keywords and increase the paid account to 24 months storage, change the payment structure according to the number of keywords and offer remote display.
